Vandersterre had the honor of receiving its very first sustainability certificate as a company at the beginning of August. The audit for this was successfully completed by the sustainability advisor, corporate development director and HR colleagues (see photo). Vandersterre has taken action in the last two years to improve social sustainability within the company and reduce its impact on the environment through, among other things, energy-saving measures, cooperation with responsible partners and more efficient use of resources. “I am very proud of all the great steps we have taken in our sustainable development so far. This certificate proves that our recent efforts are consistent with a proven Corporate Social Responsibility framework and that we are on the right track. However, sustainable development is continuous development and that is why we are motivated to continue this positive momentum,” says Iida Iloniitty, sustainability advisor Vandersterre.
